Seriously.
Check out the size of this burger!
123 lbs!
Well, I don't know if I'll ever want a burger this size
but I do enjoy a good sized burger now and then...
After reading all the comments
left about
dressing your burgers on my
giveaway postI came up with an extensive list of toppings that I now MUST try!
some that surprised me
and some that just sound soooo good
Maybe you'd like to try some of these too...
mushrooms
avocado
sweet chili sauce
grilled pineapple
chutney
Heinz 57 sauce
wasabi mayo
chilli
tabbouleh
sprouts
"all-i-oli" (garlic sauce)
bell peppers
fried egg
quacamole
A1 Steak sauce
Some had very particular taste in onions:
carmelized onions
red onion
vidalia onion
french fried onions
onion straws
And some made their choice of cheeses clear:
cheddar
melted hot pepper cheese
swiss
cambazola
bleu cheese
pepperjack
What really shocked me:
BEETROOT?!!!
hmmmm....
this is apparently an Australian thing
I happen to LOVE Australian bloggers
so I'll let this one go :)
(they also call Ketchup, tomato sauce--weird, I know)
And this was a real shocker!
PEANUT BUTTER??!!
Really?
Skippy??

hmmmmm....
I don't know that I'm that brave....
This was the most creative sounding of them all however
The comment came from Digital Misfit at
and she said...
"One of the strangest burgers that I have ever had
was at this fascinating place called The Works.
There you can order 100% beef burgers with the strangest toppings
you would never imagine.
My partner and I decided to go and choose the scariest burger for each other.
For him, I chose a beef burger topped with
poached pear slices, honey, carmelized onions and blue cheese.
For me, he chose one that had
beet slices, pineapple, carmelized onions, and a fried egg!
It was surprisingly tasty!"
okay--I'll take your word for it...
But the one I'm really excited to try is
french fries directly on my burger!
I already like potato chips
so fries are like their cousins...
aren't they?
hmmmmm.....
after I catch up on all these new blogs
I'm seriously going to have me a very
CREATIVE
hamburger!
Bon Appetit!
